Support for the RDI Strategy Work of the Lapland Wellbeing Services County

MDI conducted a data analysis to support the RDI (Research, education, development and innovation activities, as well as teaching and competence development) strategy work of the Lapland Wellbeing Services County. The strategy process was initiated in autumn 2024, with the main objective of the analysis being to support the drafting of the strategy. The work focused on analysing the background material collected for the strategy process and reporting on it. The aim was to support the analysis of the qualitative background material and the reporting of results derived from the analysis, as well as to formulate conclusions.

The material consisted of transcribed interview data collected in autumn 2024 by the wellbeing area’s research and development services. The purpose of the interviews was to gather perspectives on the operating environment of the RDI activities, its specific characteristics, and anticipated developments in the near future.

The data analysis provided valuable insights into expectations directed at the wellbeing area’s RDI activities, potential collaboration with stakeholder organisations and forms and methods of cooperation, as well as the thematic priority areas of the strategy.
