Impact Evaluation of the Art Testers Programme

MDI conducted an evaluation of the impact and future possibilities of the Taidetestaajat (Art Testers) cultural education programme for the Finnish Cultural Foundation and Svenska kulturfonden. The study examined the programme’s impact on basic education curriculum objectives and young people’s engagement with arts and culture. The evaluation considered the programme’s societal relevance, including aspects such as equality and cultural inclusion. The project involved document analysis, surveys, interviews and the development of a predictive impact model and cost model. The evaluation provided recommendations for integrating the programme as a permanent and impactful arts education model within basic education.
