The possibility of building a forecast model for the matching of supply and demand in the labour force in the Salo area was also discussed. An initiative has been taken in Salo to convene a working group on local labour shortages. To support the management of the working group, a current situational picture is required, as well as a forecasting model that could anticipate the development of labour supply and demand and the situation in the near future and in the longer term over a 10 year period.
