Front page Supplementary Neighbourhood Statistical and Potential Analysis for the Foundation for student housing in the Helsinki region Supplementary Neighbourhood Statistical and Potential Analysis for the Foundation for student housing in the Helsinki region Date: 15.10. –31.12.2024 Information Services and Data Analysis MDI conducted a supplementary neighbourhood statistics and potential analysis for the Helsinki Region Student Housing Foundation (HOAS), covering 14 neighbourhoods in the Helsinki metropolitan area. This work builds on an analysis completed in spring 2024, expanding it to include the current situation, migration patterns and the potential future development of these neighbourhoods. The project examines neighbourhood demographics, migration flows, and housing production using document and statistical analysis. The final report highlighted neighbourhood-specific future perspectives and risks from HOAS’s viewpoint, along with an overall assessment of the attractiveness of these areas.
