Front page References MAL 2023 future review for HSL MAL 2023 future review for HSL Date: 15.4. –30.9.2021 Research, studies MDI prepared a scenario and risk examination of the development of the Helsinki region up to 2060. The work will be used to shape the long-term vision and goals (up to 2060) as well as the medium-term vision and goals (up to 2040) in relation to the planning of the MAL 2023 plan. In this work, an overview of the long-term changes in the operating environment affecting land use, housing and transport was prepared, and various future scenarios and risks were prepared on the basis of it. Risk examinations and scenarios provide insights into planning and impact assessment. The project was carried out in cooperation with WSP Finland.
