Front page References Finnish archipelago in figures Finnish archipelago in figures Date: 16.5. –9.11.2022 Research, studies MDI conducted a study on the Finnish archipelago, which comprehensively compiles information about archipelago and watersheds in a structured manner. The study made use of the new Finnish classification of archipelagos and watersheds, which makes it easier to connect statistical and other data to archipelago areas. The study is mainly based on data from the Liiteri and YKR databases, which have been supplemented with other public statistical data. The study was published as two different reports, one of which examines the whole of Finland and the other focuses on the regions.
