MDI designed and facilitated the first workshop in the Maritime and fisheries network in Finland tasked with agreeing on networking practices and shared communication practises. In addition, the workshop presented the results of our network analysis of fisheries. The aim of the network analysis was to create an overall picture of the national fisheries network.
MDI implements a fisheries network analysis that creates an overall picture of the national fisheries network and the flow of information within it. Network analysis will be used to develop industry communication and networking activities. The analysis is visualised with Gephi.
MDI designed and facilitated a workshop for the Leader Groups Evaluation Team. During the workshop, a questionnaire was prepared for the Leader group beneficiaries. This can be used by all Finnish Leader groups to collect data for self-assessment and evaluation.

MDI calculated a specific population forecast for the region of South Ostrobotnia based on the forecast model designed in February 2019. In addition, a general overview of the expected prognosis on a municipal level was produced.
