Front page Developing and testing an indicator framework for the wellbeing impacts of public libraries Developing and testing an indicator framework for the wellbeing impacts of public libraries Date: 10.6.2025 Research, studies MDI is developing and testing an evaluation model (indicator framework) for assessing the wellbeing impacts of libraries for Lahti City Library. The aim is to create a broadly applicable set of indicators that enables public libraries to track their wellbeing impacts each year. During the project, the model will be piloted in libraries of different sizes to ensure that it suits diverse operating environments and that the results can be generalised. Overall, the work seeks to deepen understanding of libraries’ wellbeing impacts and provide tools for continuous monitoring and impact communication. Keywords: Culture Impact Participation Wellbeing
