Front page References Update of Kymenlaakso’s smart specialisation and scenarios Update of Kymenlaakso’s smart specialisation and scenarios Date: 10.8. –30.12.2020 Strategies and programmes The Kymenlaakso Smart Specialisation Strategy (RIS3) was updated during 2020. In addition, the scenarios produced in connection with the extensive scenario work carried out in 2018-2019 were also updated, taking into account the Covid-19 pandemic that broke out in 2020. In the first phase, MDI conducted a background analysis of both the RIS3 strategy and the scenarios, using both qualitative and quantitative data. In the second phase of the work, the RIS3 strategy and scenarios were updated in an interactive process. A series of workshops was organised as part of the process.
