The effects of the Covid-19 pandemic on housing preferences

MDI examined the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic on the change in housing preferences and the housing market in the Helsinki region. The work was part of the background work for the Helsinki region MAL2023 design. The work included a statistical, documentary and spatial data analysis on the basis of which a situational picture of possible changes is prepared. The purpose of the work was, for example, to identify different population groups and different areas on the basis of housing preferences and to identify other significant aspects related to the development of housing preferences and markets.
