Front page References The effects of Green Transition on the structure of the Finnish labour market The effects of Green Transition on the structure of the Finnish labour market Date: 1.11.2022 –31.3.2023 Research, studies MDI, in collaboration with Pellervo Economic Research, conducted a study on behalf of the Prime Minister’s Office entitled, “The Effects of the Green Transition on the structure of the Finnish labour market.” In this project, a classification of how ‘green’ occupations were was developed in line with the four-digit level of the Occupational Classification 2010. The greenness classification categorises occupations as green, non-green peer, or other non-green. The classification of an occupation’s greenness is based on data from the U.S. ONET database. In addition to the ONET data, the project included expert interviews and surveys of small and medium-sized enterprises, as well as a document analysis.
