Front page References Stakeholder dialogue on measures to support the scaling of sustainability measures in municipalities Stakeholder dialogue on measures to support the scaling of sustainability measures in municipalities Date: 1.2. –31.3.2023 Workshops, webinars, lectures, camps MDI organised a stakeholder dialogue for Kuntaliitto (Association of Finnish Municipalities) and the Kestävä kaupunki (Sustainable City) programme coordinated by the Ministry of Environment which supported the scaling of sustainability measures for Finnish municipalities and cities. The assignment continued MDI’s previous work on mapping the actions promoting the scaling of sustainability solutions. Through the stakeholder dialogue, we learned how international scaling models and tools can be utilised in national development work. MDI produced the workshop series for municipalities, cities and sustainability networks that have different roles in scaling. The workshops discussed the prerequisites and best practices for scaling.
