Front page Preparation process of the South Savo Internationalisation Plan Preparation process of the South Savo Internationalisation Plan Date: 2.9. –31.12.2024 Information Services and Data Analysis Strategies and programmes Internationalisation has been identified as one of the key factors in promoting vitality in South Savo. In the regional strategy, internationalisation is seen as a prerequisite for, among other things, the renewal and growth of companies. The main objective of the Internationalisation Plan was to guide internationalisation activities in South Savo up to 2030. At the same time, guidelines were established to align South Savo’s international cooperation, funding applications and attraction and retention efforts for international talent with various other actors in the region. MDI was responsible for facilitating the process, gathering background information and organising joint workshops for stakeholders. This work was linked to the South Savo roadmap for RDI activities.
