Literature review of the effects of climate change on the social services sector

MDI, in association with Marko Nurminen of Tietotakomo, provided SOSTE (Finnish Federation for Social Affairs and Health) with a literature review on the effects of climate change on the social services sector. The review looked at the effects of climate change, both at the individual level and at the level of the structures of social and health service delivery. In addition, a few case examples of the relevant comparable countries from the Finnish perspective were described. The cross-cutting focus of the review was from the perspective of the most vulnerable people in relation to this topic.
