Impact assessment of the Pirkanmaa start-up alliance

MDI guided and facilitated the process of preliminary impact assessment of the Pirkanmaa start-up alliance and compiled the EVA evaluation report based on the process, the background and on the basis of the available effectiveness information, to support the decision-making of the alliance development phases. The Pirkanmaa Association, the City of Tampere, Tampere University (Tampere University of Applied Sciences, the University of Tampere, the Tampere University of Technology), the Pirkanmaa Employment and Economic Development Office (TE-palvelut), the Pirkanmaa ELY Centre and the Pirkanmaa Hospital District were involved in building the strategic alliance. The purpose of the impact assessment was to structure and clarify the goals and implementation options and to identify and evaluate the start-up alliance’s impact on the Alliance partners, the start-up ecosystem and the broader population as well as on other actors in the region and on the environment and the regional economy in the short and long term.
