Front page References Evaluation of the national innovation policy and regional choices Evaluation of the national innovation policy and regional choices Date: 1.5.2011 –31.1.2012 Research, studies MDI carried out a project whose aim was to signal the national innovation policy choices to the regions and assess the mismatch of the regional innovation strategies and programs and the national innovation policy. The work was implemented as a workshop round for the 15 Centers for Economic Development, Transport and the Environment (ELY centres). The background research comprised a study made of 212 r3egional strategies about the regional choices. The final report included an analysis of the mismatch, recommendations for the implementation and a holistic understanding about the challenges of innovation work.
