Front page Evaluation of the Activities and Performance of the East Lapland Joint Municipal Authority Evaluation of the Activities and Performance of the East Lapland Joint Municipal Authority Date: 22.6. –31.10.2026 Evaluations MDI evaluated the relevance, performance and impact of the East Lapland Joint Municipal Authority (ILKY), as well as the functioning of its organisation and its cooperation and stakeholder relations, to support the Joint Authority Board’s decision-making and operational planning. The evaluation draws on document analysis, interviews with member municipalities and stakeholders, a survey, and benchmarking against three regional development organisations. The work will result in short- and long-term development recommendations, which will be discussed with the Joint Authority Board in a workshop. Keywords: Regional development Vitality
