An analysis of the current state of the population development and age structure of the municipalities in the region and 2. A projection, by population and language group, up to 2040. A diverse analysis of the current state of the population of Western Uusimaa was produced. On the basis of these findings, a projection of the development of the population and age structure into the 2020s and 2030s was produced which also took into account the development by language group. The analysis provided a diverse municipal picture of the population for which Western Uusimaa social services are provided and the future development of this population.
