With the survey, we gathered the views of municipal decision-makers and senior officials on their municipality’s future. In the summary, we compiled the ratings in respect of municipal vitality policy for all of mainland Finland as well as ratings relating to their development prospects. We will publish the entire results package and interactive Tableau visualisations in early 2021. A summary and reports from previous years (in Finnish) can be found at mdi.fi/kuntakysely. Multi-functional development of station areas News 28.11.2023 In the early autumn period, MDI and FCG worked on the development of the Asemanseutu project which is part of the project package – Vitality for Urban Regions. The work undertaken clarified the basic models for the multi-functional development of station areas, as well as providing recommendations for their development and financing.
