Front page Study on the Business Opportunities of Manufacturing and Technology Companies Study on the Business Opportunities of Manufacturing and Technology Companies Date: 3.2. –30.4.2025 Research, studies MDI conducted a study on the business opportunities and capabilities of manufacturing and technology companies as part of the evolving value chain of security of supply and the drone ecosystem in the Seinäjoki economic area. The aim of the study was to identify potential companies in the region that could join the R&D and testing environment focused on future aviation and autonomous technologies. The study assessed companies’ expertise, readiness, and interest in participating in the ecosystem, analysed development needs, and provided policy recommendations to support decision-making. The study was carried out using a multi-method approach, including interviews, surveys, and data analysis. The outcome was a report on the business potential of local companies and recommendations for ecosystem development. The study was completed by April 2025. Keywords: Companies Growth Industries RDI
