Front page News News Well-being analysis by municipality in South Savo Well-being analysis by municipality in South Savo 2.4.2018 MDI carried out a well-being analysis of South Savo, which examined the state and development of the welfare and health of the municipalities of Southern Savo in the medium term. The state of prosperity and health of South Savo was compared with the values of the whole country and the median community in the same time period. The comparison also looked at the wellbeing and health of the hospital districts in Southern Savo and Eastern Savo. The analysis was carried out by examining the age-related morbidity indexes of KELA and THL. The averages of the three most recent years have been calculated to reduce random variability and the number of deviations, which could be problematic especially for small municipalities. THL’s disease-specific indices do not contain data from municipalities with less than 2000 inhabitants. All indices are age-matched. Share to Share to: facebook Share to: linkedin Share to: twitter
