The Rural Policy Council will be provided with sparring help in relation to their Programme work and the implementation of Rural Parliament

MDI supports the Rural Policy Council (MANE) in the process of drafting the Comprehensive Rural Policy Programme 2021–2027. The new, seventh Comprehensive Programme, will be drafted ‘from the bottom up’, in close cooperation with stakeholders. The aim is to produce a more strategic Comprehensive Programme than has hitherto been the case.

We will facilitate engaging workshops and a writing camp to design the programme. In addition, the successful implementation of the Rural Parliament will be supported through the facilitation training of workshop leaders. The Rural Parliament will be held in Kurikka 1.–3.10.2020. National rural development and policy will be discussed at the event.
