The Healthy Kids of Seinäjoki – development platform takes new steps forward

MDI helped with the Healthy Kids of Seinäjoki organisation’s development platform. The aim was to clarify how experimentation and development activities between different stakeholders should be organised. The aim of the Healthy Kids of Seinäjoki operating model is to promote the well-being of children, young people and families and to bring together actors working to promote their well-being. The city’s own municipal spheres of authority, as well as residents, other organisations and associations, representatives from the educational and research fields and private sector companies are also involved.

MDI supported the Healthy Kids of Seinäjoki organisation in modeling the development platform while also structuring the ideas and different methods for implementing it. Information on modeling the development platform was gathered through group interviews and workshops. ‘Into Seinäjoki’, the commissioning client, was given the role, tasks and guidance requests of the development platform to concretely support the project for the future. During the work, concrete ideas were also generated for the first projects and collaborative forms of the development platform.
