Front page Updating Scenarios and Employment and Population Projections for Kymenlaakso Updating Scenarios and Employment and Population Projections for Kymenlaakso Date: 16.9.2024 –31.1.2025 Information Services and Data Analysis Research, studies MDI updated previously developed scenarios for Kymenlaakso, as well as population and employment projections for the region and its municipalities. The work included forming updated assumptions for future development scenarios of the region, analysing past development trends, and incorporating insights gained through interactive sessions. The process involved two interactive workshops with key stakeholders from Southeast Finland. The outcome was an updated model projecting future population development and employment plans.
