Front page References The update of the business programme The update of the business programme Date: 1.12.2020 –28.2.2021 Research, studies Strategies and programmes Ylöjärvi Yrityspalvelut Oy operates as the city’s business and development company and is responsible for the city’s business consulting, plot supply and business development. MDI supported the preparation of the new business programme of Ylöjärvi in 2018 in accordance with the updated city strategy. The work produced an analysis of the development of Ylöjärvi’s industries in the 2010s and prepared a comparison of Ylöjärvi’s position in relation to the development of Kaarina, Kangasala and Nokia. The workshop for the City Board and the Development Committee set out the priorities of the business programme on the basis of the city strategy and outlined the most important goals for 2026. In addition, the necessary actions were listed. Finally, MDI produced the business programme materials for the city. Keywords: Business Cities Employment Industries
