The consortium aims to identify support instruments and services for would-be- and start-up-entrepreneurs in EU member states. On the basis of a comprehensive survey, the consortium has chosen two support instruments from Finland, for which a more accurate case descriptions are made. These selected support instruments are Tampere Entrepreneurship Agency “Ensimetri” and student-run Entrepreneurial Society “Boost Turku”. The case-study aims to pay particular attention to the effectiveness, cost-effectiveness and scalability of the support services and their instruments. The results of the work will be delivered to the EASME (Executive Agency for SMEs) and the European Commission, and will be used to apply best practices and policy formulation.
