Front page The Climate Action Plan of the Municipality of Sipoo The Climate Action Plan of the Municipality of Sipoo Date: 4.9. –6.11.2024 Strategies and programmes MDI assisted the municipality of Sipoo in creating its first climate plan. This plan clarifies the municipality’s goal of carbon neutrality, setting out specific actions to achieve emission reductions. Additionally, it includes measures to climate change adaptation and carbon sinks. The climate plan was developed in close collaboration with the municipality. Workshops were facilitaded for the municipal council, management and staff. A survey was also conducted to assess staff’s motivation, commitment, and actions already taken for emission reductions.
