Front page Supporting the preparation of a vitality programme for Liminka municipality Supporting the preparation of a vitality programme for Liminka municipality Date: 21.8. –31.12.2024 Strategies and programmes Liminka is a rapidly growing municipality located to the south of Oulu. As of July 2024, the population was 10,240. MDI participated in the preparation of Liminka’s vitality programme by providing support to municipal officials throughout the various stages of programme development. After conducting an analysis of the operating environment, the thoughts and ideas were gathered from residents and other stakeholders by means of a survey. These perspectives were further explored through interviews. The programme content was shaped in two interactive workshops/seminars, with the first one held with the municipal council and the second with the municipal board. The work was completed during 2024.
