Structural Funds impact assessment in Southern Ostrobothnia

MDI evaluated the effectiveness of Structural Fund operations in South Ostrobothnia, commissioned by the Regional Council of South Ostrobothnia. The evaluation produced information e.g. the relevance and impacts of Structural Fund operations during the programme period, especially in relation to regional aims and the needs of regional operators. The evaluation also studied how the implementation had succeeded, produced knowledge of the role of the regional cooperation group in the implementation and evaluated the importance and added value of structural funds from the perspective of regional developmental needs. In addition, the evaluation produced knowledge on the regional development needs of the structural funds, mapped the content requirements of the upcoming programme and developed an impact assessment of the upcoming programme period.
