Story camp

Seinäjoki University of Applied Sciences wanted to attach a story to its application for authorization for the Ministry of Education and Culture. The project was about telling a story about the meaning of the University of Applied Sciences to the development of Seinäjoki Region and the whole Southern Ostrobothnia Region. Before the camp MDI collected newspaper stories, pictures, drawings, historical depictions, feelings and athmosphere descriptions about the region and the University of Applied Sciences. The camp was an intensive 24h story camp in June 2013. The participants collected a map for reminiscencing and a description of the development processes and impacts of the University of Applied Sciences. Apart from the historical analysis the story camp included a future-oriented session where the camper evaluated the impact of the University of Applied Sciences at the moment and during the ten following years.
