Front page Settlement Services and Process in Northern Savonia Settlement Services and Process in Northern Savonia Date: 1.3. –30.4.2025 Research, studies MDI conducted a study in spring 2025 on the settlement process and services in Northern Savonia, commissioned by the Talent First Kuopio project. The study utilised background materials and examined the services of various actors in Northern Savonia, as well as conducted supplementary interviews and information requests. The target groups of the study were work and education-based immigrants. Settlement paths were examined based on different profiles: those arriving from outside the EU, those arriving from within the EU, and those already residing in Finland, as well as seasonal workers.
