Ranua Wind Power Programme

The purpose of the Ranua Wind Power Programme is to establish a cohesive objective for wind power construction in the municipality of Ranua over the long term. The programme will present clear criteria and guidance for the construction of wind farms. Several wind farms are currently planned for the Ranua municipality area, making it necessary to investigate and possibly establish principles for the placement of wind farms within the municipality.

The work involves gathering initial data, creating scenario options, conducting a survey, organising workshops and drafting the wind power programme. A specialist from MDI will participate in the participatory phases, namely the survey and the workshop.

The project manager is Antti Kumpula from FCG. Additionally, Erika Brusila, Sini Ollila, Jan Tvrdy, and Tarja Outila from FCG will also participate in the work.
