Front page Process Consultancy for the Kymenlaakso Regional Programme Process Consultancy for the Kymenlaakso Regional Programme Date: 24.3. –31.10.2025 Strategies and programmes Workshops, webinars, lectures, camps MDI supported Kymenlaakso in drafting their regional programme for the period 2026–2029. MDI carried out a series of six workshops with the aim of outlining the region’s vision, key development priorities, and their content. MDI designed, facilitated, and reported on the following sessions: 1) a vitality discussion with municipal leaders, 2) a futures workshop for the regional council, 3) thematic workshops related to the regional development decision, covering three themes (sustainable vitality and investments, a well-being population and communities, and a high-quality living environment with diverse nature), and a concluding workshop bringing together the outcomes of the entire process.
