Front page Population and Housing Analysis for Savonlinna Population and Housing Analysis for Savonlinna Date: 26.8. –18.12.2026 Information Services and Data Analysis Research, studies MDI prepared a study for the City of Savonlinna on population trends and their implications for housing needs. The aim was to provide an evidence base for housing development and identify the needs of different population groups and differences between areas within the city. The work included an analysis of past population and housing trends, a population forecast by subarea, modelling of household numbers and composition and future housing production needs, and reporting and presentation of the findings.
