The work enhances using of forecasting, preparedness of economic renewal, smart specialization and reinforcing the culture of experimenting. The anticipated structural change makes a part of continuous strategy work and decision-making, needs strong strategies that can handle the future and has to be implemented in a resilient manner. MDI supported the Regional Council of Satakunta in renewing the approach, focusing especially on forecasting and tracking. The work was due in May 2016. Keywords: Industries
