That’s enough to be shared, and every region and city wants it’s own part of it. The City of Porvoo is one of the most well-known urban destinations in Finland, but it wants to further strengthen tourism. MDI made a small-scale background work on tourism trends, guidelines, bottlenecks and key observations from Porvoo’s tourism. The work was based heavily on the tourism vision of the city of Helsinki from the end of last year, after all, Porvoo is a part of larger metropolitan area. Based on the desk study, a workshop was held with key operators and developers of this region in mid-March. The subscriber of the work was the City of Porvoo and the development is done in cooperation with Posintra Ltd. Keywords: Industries
