Front page Migration Analysis of 25–34-Year-Olds in Kajaani Migration Analysis of 25–34-Year-Olds in Kajaani Date: 1.9. –31.10.2024 Information Services and Data Analysis MDI conducted a migration analysis for the City of Kajaani, focusing on the 25–34-year-old age group. This analysis examined the structure and trends of in- and out-migration within this demographic, identifying the causes of net migration losses and migration destinations by employment and educational groups, as well as by region. Special attention was given to changes during the 2010s and 2020s and to the placement of recent graduates. The result was a comprehensive report on the impacts and future trends of migration, supporting the city’s efforts to enhance its appeal to young adults. Keywords: Cities Population and migration
