Front page Migration Analysis and Population Projection Update for Hämeenlinna Migration Analysis and Population Projection Update for Hämeenlinna Date: 1.9. –31.10.2024 Information Services and Data Analysis MDI conducted a migration analysis and update of the population projection for the City of Hämeenlinna. The project focused on recent changes in immigration and birth rate trends and their impact on the population structure. The migration analysis examined the current status of immigration and the development of the non-native-speaking population. The updated population projection is based on a sub-area approach and includes a projection by language group. The project resulted in an updated population projection model that supports city service planning and addresses the latest changes in population structure.
