Front page Lapila vision Lapila vision Date: 1.10. –31.12.2021 Workshops, webinars, lectures, camps Together with the Uusi Kaupunki collective, MDI prepared a structural growth vision for the Lapila residential area. The city of Kerava is growing rapidly and the Lapila residential area has been identified as a potentially important growth area close to good public transport connections. The Lapila area is also located in the vicinity of the future housing exhibition area, with attention to the area growing. MDI and the Uusi Kaupunki collective drew up a vision of what Lapila could look like in the future. As part of the project, a walking tour with residents of the area was also undertaken.
