Front page Immigration Snapshot of the City of Porvoo Immigration Snapshot of the City of Porvoo Date: 12.6.2024 –4.6.2025 Information Services and Data Analysis Research, studies MDI carried out an immigration snapshot for the City of Porvoo, examining immigration from multiple perspectives. The analysis consisted of five sections: a national overview of immigration, a general immigration snapshot of Porvoo, a snapshot of work- and education-based immigration, projected population development by language group for the period 2024–2040, and a comparison of Porvoo’s immigration situation against reference areas. The work drew on statistical and data sources, with the findings compiled into a visual PowerPoint report. The results were also presented to the representatives of the City of Porvoo. The analysis produced key observations on the current state and future development trends of immigration in Porvoo. Keywords: Cities Employment Immigration Population and migration
