Facilitation of Workshops Related to the Häme Regional Programme

Häme Regional Council is preparing a regional programme that will guide the area’s development efforts in the coming years. The regional programme process requires broad stakeholder collaboration and the consolidation of various actors’ perspectives. In this context, workshops were organised with the following objectives:

• Deepening the key priorities and actions of the regional programme.
• Advancing the implementation of the smart specialisation strategy.
• Ensuring that the needs and perspectives of different sub-regions are taken into account.
• Generating concrete ideas for further development of the programme.

Three regional workshops were held at the turn of March and April. The workshops were designed to support the programme’s content and regional priorities. Interactive methods and technical solutions were utilised to enhance participation.

Through the facilitation of these workshops, it was ensured that the Häme regional programme is based on the insights of various actors and regional specificities. The participatory working model supported the strategic direction of the programme and strengthened the impact of regional development efforts.
