Evaluation of the effectiveness and impact assessment of labour market training

The research project, funded by the Government’s analysis, assessment and research activities unit, consists of four work packages: 1) the targeting and effectiveness of labour market training, 2) the effects of vocational reform, 3) the organisation and cooperation of labour market training, and 4) synthesis and policy recommendations. The study provides information on the effectiveness and efficiency of labour market training and presents policy recommendations on their development needs. The study also examines the effects of the reform of vocational upper secondary education. The research supports labour market policy development and reforming continuous learning, as well as employment targets in general. PTT leads the research project and MDI acts as a sub-contractor. The Labour Institute for Economic Research is also involved.
