Front page Elsa Testbed management model Elsa Testbed management model Date: 23.3. –15.5.2020 Research, studies MDI developed the management model of Elsa-Testbed, the innovation and testing environment for development of social and health care in South Karelia. Elsa-Testbed offers companies a real-life platform to test and pilot product and services supporting independent living (and ageing) in place. Elsa Testbed’s services are provided in cooperation by Eksote, LUT and LAB. In the assignment, MDI interviewed the employees of the project and its stakeholders. Moreover, MDI analysed management models for similar experimental platforms, testbeds, living labs and innovation platforms. The result of the work is a few alternative models for organising Elsa Testbed’s operations in a targeted and sustainable manner. Keywords: Industries RDI Social and Health care Wellbeing
