Front page Case Studies on the Sustainable Use of Pesticides Case Studies on the Sustainable Use of Pesticides Date: 10.7. –15.8.2018 Evaluations MDI is involved in an international consortium which has been mandated by the European Parliament to evaluate the sustainable use of pesticides. The assignment raises two case studies from Finland, one is related to prohibition of use of pesticides in particularly vulnerable areas and one for the economic, social and ecological effects of pesticides in relation to drinking water. The consortium’s main body is the Austrian ÖIR, Österreichisches Institut für Raumplanung GmbH. The study will be completed by the end of 2018.
