Front page A Survey related to the reform of the MRL concerning co-operation between authorities in land use planning A Survey related to the reform of the MRL concerning co-operation between authorities in land use planning Date: 1.8. –15.10.2019 Research, studies The Ministry of the Environment is preparing a reform of the Land Use and Building Act. As a part of the preparation, the aim was to carry out a web-based survey to find out how well the co-operation and procedures of the authorities in matters concerning land use and building control were carried out. The survey was addressed to municipalities, provincial associations and ELY centers, as well as other state authorities. MDI assisted the Ministry of the Environment in designing the survey, carried out the survey technically, analysed the results of the survey and compiled a concise and informative report on the results. The work was carried out in September-October 2019. Keywords: Environment
