A Study on the Quantitative Needs of Legal Education

MDI was involved in conducting a study commissioned by the Ministry of Education and Culture and the Ministry of Justice on the development needs of legal education. The study examined the quantitative demand for lawyers and the key factors affecting labour needs. A central theme here was the need for a comprehensive review of the availability of labour for employers in the judicial sector, as well as the investigation of potential recruitment challenges in different regions and job roles. The project was led by FCG’s expert Marika Koramo. The team also included MDI’s experts Juuso Ilmola and Samuli Manu.
