Pieksämäki today: Will Small Towns Remain on the Map in Finland? 11.2.2016 Today, Design Director Janne Antikainen popped up in the City of Pieksämäki and wondered together with regional business advisors whether small towns will remain on the map of Finland or not. Playoff between cities is tightening – and all the cities will not, unfortunately, stay on the map in the future. Conservative midway is now the most risky way, remaining in the map requires spiky and rough profiles. All MDI experts are more than willing to wander round in Finland (and rest of the world) to inform, inspire and interpret regional development trends together with regional developers.
