It offers a great deal of potential to create new jobs and income in Helsinki as long as the development work considers the different megatrends that shape the world today. The city of Helsinki has commissioned MDI to deliver a vision for Helsinki’s tourism and event sector which will point out what steps are needed to ensure co-innovation activities that will bring added value to everyone. The project will culminate in an Amazing Race hackathon, where MDI, together with stakeholders and visionary parties, will form a shared vision about the future of tourism and events in Helsinki.
