Front page News News MDI Team Strengthens MDI Team Strengthens 1.6.2016 MDI is strengthened again for the whole width of the profile of the firm when we get excellent experts for both rural and urban policy and to regional reform. MSc Elina Auri, who has 10 years of experience and knowledge of evaluations, studies and research, moves from Ramboll to MDI in August. Elina is an all-around expert, with closest interest in rural and especially archipelago issues. Around we go, one will be: Elina is a former colleague from Ministry of Employment and the Economy to some of us. Ilppo Soininvaara, BSc from the University of Helsinki, will work from June to August on regional reform project, collecting information about the Uusimaa regional development system, which will be empirical material for his thesis. Ilppo is interested in addition to regional development system – in urban questions from structural factors to political regional science. Multi-functional development of station areas News 28.11.2023 In the early autumn period, MDI and FCG worked on the development of the Asemanseutu project which is part of the project package – Vitality for Urban Regions. The work undertaken clarified the basic models for the multi-functional development of station areas, as well as providing recommendations for their development and financing.
