MDI takes part in the regional roadshow of regional governance, health and social services reform

The Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health in Finland are organising Our Own County discussion events in co-operation with counties during the spring of 2018. All the relevant actors (civil servants, political decision-makers, stakeholders) taking part in the regional preparation of the reform’s implementation are invited to take part in the event. Experts from all the key ministries concerning the reform will also take part in the events. These ministries include the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health, the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Economy, the Ministry of the Environment, the Ministry of the Interior, and the Ministry of Transport and Communications.

MDI has been appointed to act as a chairman and facilitator in the discussion session in each event. All the people registering to the regional events have a possibility to propose questions to be addressed in the discussion session. Some of the questions will be forwarded to the experts in the respective ministries in order to provide participants with up-to-date answers.

Our Own County roadshow of regional events kicks off in Seinäjoki on April 24th to be finished in Rovaniemi on June 8th, 2018.
